Steam version - status update

I'm about to stick a fork in the Steam version, and in true keeping with the old 20-80 rule, some of the most trivial things seem to drag on the longest (looking at you, steam deck virtual keyboard). 

Anyhow, with it comes some long overdue clean up, getting a last few placeholder art assets out, cleaning up a few straggler issues from chapter 7, finally verifying controller support and making a few quality of life tweaks there (who knew that worked mostly out of the box), and last but not least... 

Achievements for everyone.

Not just Steam owners (although you need to be connected to the steam client to get pop-up notifications upon achieving one). There's 49 in there, and I'll probably add one or two more before we launch. Also included an in-game achievement overview for when you're not connected to Steam.

The Steam version...

Comes with some content missing due to the platform restrictions (mainly the backer thank you after chapter 1 and the air pirates bit), and a few slightly tweaked dialogs, and no links to other platforms. 

It also comes with handful of choice wallpapers(*), and their NSFW variants, and all the other benefits of running on Steam, including cloud saves, and patched updates instead of 8 GB downloads. 

But if you want the original content restored...

I'll provide a small .rpa file to download and drop into the game\ folder of the Steam version, and that should restore all original dialogs and scenes.

So when? 

Well, currently I'm still waiting on approval from Steam, and they're already a bit overdue (I either pity or envy the reviewer that has to wade through all the current content, depending on their preferences), and that's actually really nerve wracking. 

After that, there's still a release timer, but I'll announce some more once the official approval is in.
