Chapter 7 release date

Alright, the announcement everyone's been waiting on:

After more than 500 days, and 4k3 grueling hours, chapter 7 of Light of my Life is, finally, done.

It adds ~10k of new images, bringing the grand total up to 23k2 or thereabouts. It adds, I don't know, a lot of lines of dialog, okay. Plenty of innuendo, some will say too much, some will say not enough. Macy rolls her eyes a lot, Denise gives you that look, co-workers are up to stuff.

And soon you can see for yourself. It'll be released this Friday (the 11th) if all goes well, first here, and publicly immediately after I have the mirrors up, and by that time hopefully itch.io will be updated as well.

I'll have a bit more to say when I put it up. I still have to write some release notes to go with it.
What's up with Android?
Ah, yeah. So, it's a bit weird, it seems to work fine for most people, but I've had a couple of testers with problems (including my own trusty S9), and it doesn't seem related to Android version, architecture, the age of the device, or the resources available on the device.
I feel that points to a problem on those devices rather than a problem with the build, maybe settings or other apps, but it warrants more research. I'm not letting it hold up the releases though, we'll just have to figure this thing out when it's out there, maybe some additional eyes can help pinpoint the problem.

How big a download is it?
Well, since we nearly doubled in the amount of images, it should come as no surprise we nearly doubled in size too. PC/Mac/Linux versions clock in at about 8GB. Android's still just under 2GB.
How big is it exactly?
I'm not sure. Pretty big. My last happy path playthrough for final tweaks and additions took me about two days or something. But that's with fixing stuff along the way as well. But soon you can see it all for yourself.
