It’s cute but also sad that hanging out with a regular human relative is such a culture shock for Steven. He’s barely ever even been yelled at like that for risking his life! The angriest the gems ever got with him was when he tried to take a bus out of town with Connie. When it comes to basic safety things there’s never really been anyone to freak out that much over Steven risking his life other than Greg, who’s just… not really present all the time.
