Before anything else, here are January's winners! We had a tie for 2nd place with Ishtar and Himeko so I'm using my executive power to choose Ishtar since I'm more familiar with her.

Didn't expect Hilda to do that well considering I'm drawing her as an adult, but I guess that's why she won? Either way, I'll do my best ^^

Quick Fics Progress Update

First week of March is over so I wanted to talk about progress so far!

Writing

Currently at 2K words. It'll probably max out at 5K. The intro and setup is taking me longer to write and rewrite because it needs to be solid for the story to make sense. But other than that, writing is fairly quick and comfy.

Art

• Sprite Art: 2/2 (Loki and Anna)
• Expression: 2/??? (Loki, Anna, Summoner)
• BG Art: 1/3 
• CG Art: 6/??? (2 finished, the rest are sketches)

I decided to simplify the character designs (by undressing them lol) to focus on appeal rather than accuracy. I don't think you guys mind, right? :P

FEH Anna's design is too bulky for Quick Fics so I gave her a one-piece dress to reveal her curves. Also made her look a little older just because I can ^^ Her pose is a bit stiff though but I'll make it up to her in the CGs (where the real action happens :P)

Speaking of, I'll be focusing on CGs next, which is the bulk of the artwork. My goal is to have a lot of CGs for the H-scenes (different angles, pans, cut-ins, etc etc)

This is the most fun part of the project for me because I get to play with dynamic shots (in ways I couldn't with regular pin-up/illustrations) My favorite CG right now is a shot of Loki's hand holding something. On its own it's a simple shot, but given context and combined with other CGs, it's 👌👌👌👌 Kinda hard to explain with just words so I hope I'll be able to convey the 👌👌👌👌 in the game ^^

I think I'm off to a great start, got some real progress done. Overall, I'd put the project at 30% complete at this point. Still got a long ways to go but I just need to keep up the pace and just keep doing it :D

That's all I got for now! Gonna take a quick break and try out Unicorn Overlord since it's finally out! ^^
