Progress Report

Finished Writing Part 1 of Chapter 3!!!

At around 60k words, the first part of the chapter is done! This grew more than I had planned, but I saw the opportunity to reveal some of Hadrian's backstory now instead of further on as I had planned thus what was supposed to be a simple conversation expanded a bit more. 😋

For those of you who aren't interested in it, worry not, for, as with almost all conversations, you have the option to leave or not even be in the room in the first place xD.

Next, the chapter is divided into two parts: those who meet with Vallen and those who do not. I am so excited to finally write Vallen's garden "date"!!! I'll have to figure out some coding details regarding the clues you might have, but that's a problem for future me 😄. Then, you'll go stealing some formal gowns and suits with Tarragona's best thief, and, finally, at the end of the chapter, it'll be Alessa's time in the spotlight. 

But that's for later! Right now, I'll finally go back and do a deep editing of Chapter 2. I've had a bunch of typos and errors reported that need fixing, as well as the overall writing quality. The second chapter is big, but I'm hoping to have all the editing done in less than two weeks so that I can code and release the beginning of Chapter 3.

Speaking of beta testers, one reported that achievements didn't pop up for her when she played. They always appear to me, does this happen to you too? 

I actually finished writing on Friday, but fate thought life was going too well for me and hit me with a nasty flu 😩 I was bedridden for most of Saturday (which sucked because I planned to write this month's Mature scenarios Saturday), but luckily, I'm feeling better today! 

I already started editing chapter 2 since I'm stuck at home anyway, and caught a typo literally in the second line 😭. 

That's about it. I hope your weekend is going ten times better than mine. Summer approaches with the speed of a torpedo. I both long to swim in the ocean and dread the heatwaves that often assault Lisbon. For better or worse, I'll always have the Rose to escape to.
