Either way she would have had to stay in Kings landing either to marry Loris which she wanted or to marry Tyrion. But since she said no to leaving with little finger she feels like she gave up a chance to escape when in reality the likelihood of him being able to sneak her away successfully is pretty slim. Also I commend your restraint for not calling Cersei an outright bitch before now 🤣.

2025-03-01 09:38:01 +0000 UTCRegarding the lord of light, I don’t think they needed the baratheons specifically, they just interpreted from the flames that they would be part of a bigger picture in the end. Them trying to get Robert converted also might help their cause like gaining more followers. With melissandre’s prophecies, it might be right but I also think it’s how you interpret them. Because she could interpret what she sees in the flames differently than how another red priest/priestess interprets it.
