I donβt think it will come up anymore.. I think it was one of those things of when you first meet someone thatβs all you know about them is their appearance so it was like omg this person is so fair and has no hair how weird/pretty. In the novel rak loves muts dark skin so I think it just didnβt translate well or if they do bring it back it will be rak saying how handsome he thinks mut is.

2024-07-05 17:47:21 +0000 UTCAlso in the Love Sea novel as well as a lot of other MAME novels i notice she does appreciate and pay equal compliment to tan/darker skinned characters as well as fair skinned characters not one being superior to the other, its why there is a lot more tan main characters in her novels. so I was surprised the writing changed in the first ep to only pay attention to how pale Tongrak's character is, I hope this either changes as the series continues on or they omit this completely

Connor is also a character from a previous book called Love Sand where he visits this exact island and falls in love with Khom, Mahasamut's friend (you also might have seen the character Khom if you watched TharnType's special episode).
