SUP Chapter 69: Scientists! The System Delivers!

When the police sirens grew from distant to near, Ian had already walked away humming a little tune.

He took another couple of gulps of his tech drink and passed by the gym entrance. Having already achieved his goal, he didn't plan to linger in this place full of "English atmosphere."

However, the two nerds standing at the gym entrance caught Ian's attention. One was a tall man, the other a short man with glasses, both pacing back and forth anxiously at the gym entrance.

"I can do this, I definitely can!" The short, bespectacled man was pumping himself up, his fists clenched tightly. "As long as I build muscle, Penny will definitely fall for me!"

The tall, thin man with short hair rolled his eyes.

"Leonard, according to the research data on page 327 of Evolutionary Psychology, women's preference for muscles only ranks sixth in mate selection."

He offered a reminder.

"Sheldon! Science isn't always right! To hell with evolutionary psychology!" The short man named Leonard completely ignored his friend's advice.

"I can definitely become a muscle-bound hunk! Then my love will come." He clenched his fists with confidence, his inexplicable self-assurance making Ian feel a sense of déjà vu.

"We are scientists, we should believe in... fine, if you insist, you need to first figure out how to step through that door." The tall man called Sheldon took several steps back.

"Our friendship can only take me this far with you. That place is simply a petri dish of bacteria and viruses. I won't enter such a place that would kill me from syphilis or some other disease."

He said this while pulling out his phone.

"What are you doing?"

The short man Leonard had a bad feeling.

"I need to buy some alcohol. When you come home tonight, I'll throw you in it for a soak. How about eighty-proof alcohol? I respect my roommate's choices and preferences."

Sheldon maintained his politeness.

"Are you trying to kill me?"

Leonard was exasperated.

"Indeed, you make a good point. I don't want to go to prison... so seventy-five proof should be sufficient." As he spoke, Sheldon raised one hand and began tapping away on his phone to place an order.

"..."

Leonard wordlessly held his head in his hands.

And just then.

"Hey, you two, good evening." Ian remembered why he felt that sense of déjà vu. He had encountered two characters who shouldn't exist in the DC universe.

The two main characters from The Big Bang Theory. It was a daily sitcom that Ian had watched while learning English. He only remembered that the characters were all excellent nerdy scientists.

Other information wasn't important.

Whether he knew it or not didn't matter. Even if he hadn't seen this TV show, Ian would only care about their identity as scientists. Only this point was what attracted Ian the most.

He had laser guns.

He had the Marvel world.

So of course he needed to know enough excellent scientists. Being a literary copycat was just the beginning, being a science copycat was the road to success. Ian also had a heart to use technology to benefit himself while incidentally benefiting humanity.

"Uh."

Leonard, seeing someone approach them, immediately raised his hands reflexively. "I need to keep a clear mind, so I don't need any fitness tech products!"

He obviously wasn't coming to this place for the first time and was very familiar with the sales tactics outside the gym.

"I'm not a tech peddler." Ian hid his cola bottle and defended his identity under the gaze of two physicists who had some understanding of chemistry.

Leonard frowned, not quite believing him.

But Sheldon was thoughtful.

"He's right, Leonard. He's so handsome that even Penny would be willing to spend 500, no, 800 dollars for him. He could completely engage in faster illegal money-making activities."

"If he has eighty percent of a normal person's intelligence, he would choose to approach rich women, blackmail rich women, and get rich. He could definitely become a billionaire because of this." Scientist Sheldon seriously stated his reasonable analysis.

"!!!!"

Ian was stunned.

"Do you also have super intelligence?"

He rarely felt genuinely shocked in his heart.

"I'm a theoretical physicist who will win a Nobel Prize in the future, so of course I have super intelligence." Sheldon tilted his head thoughtfully and responded matter-of-factly.

"Smack~"

Leonard wordlessly slapped his forehead.

He felt that the teenager in front of him and his friend beside him had dealt him a double critical hit.

"So, kid, what exactly do you want from us?" Leonard took a deep breath to calm his emotions and looked at Ian, who could be identified as a middle school student at a glance.

Ian immediately responded.

"I'm a student aspiring to become an excellent capitalist who needs a group of scientists to become my workhorses." He tried to extend an olive branch to the two men.

Leonard just thought Ian was joking.

But Sheldon's eyes lit up.

"Comparing employees to workhorses, hmm, a very vivid metaphor, and very honest too. I like communicating with honest people, even though most honest people have low IQs. Don't misunderstand, I'm just expressing that lying requires details, and fabricating details is such a high-difficulty behavior that requires super high intelligence to support."

Whether he was praising Ian, belittling Ian, or praising himself was unclear.

It didn't matter.

Ian was a magnanimous person.

"Sheldon! Shut up!" Leonard was more bothered by his roommate's rudeness. He turned apologetically to Ian. "Listen, kid, we're professors at Metropolitan Institute of Technology."

"The income is pretty good, we don't need to change jobs." Although he still thought Ian was playing a prank or joking, he still gave Ian some polite respect and seriousness.

To this, Ian blinked his eyes.

"I'm backed by Wayne Enterprises."

He wasn't lying, just not telling the whole truth. As a contract writer for a small publishing house under Wayne Enterprises, how could he not be backed by Wayne Enterprises? The big boss even thought highly of him!

"Huh?"

Both Leonard and Sheldon were obviously stunned.

"Wayne Enterprises! Is it that Wayne Enterprises?" Sheldon was obviously extremely excited. "Bruce Wayne, he ranks third among the 16 people I admire most!"

"Only behind Batman's ranking!"

"Bruce Wayne is definitely the most underestimated greatest capitalist and inventor of this century!" It had to be said that this man named Sheldon was perhaps quite devoted in some ways.

Compared to his unhesitating belief, Leonard wasn't so easily trusting.

"You have a relationship with Wayne Enterprises? What kind of relationship?" Leonard looked at Ian incredulously, thinking Ian looked just like a child from a normal elite family.

"What kind of relationship? Let me put it this way, Bruce Wayne owes my father his life." Ian answered seriously, speaking the absolute truth.

"A life-and-death friendship!"

Leonard suddenly understood, or at least he thought he understood. "Did your father create a company and then get Wayne Enterprises' support?"

Despite his amazement, he still didn't think a child like Ian could start a business.

"Sorry."

After considering for a moment, Leonard still wanted to refuse.

And just then, Ian opened his backpack, preparing to cater to the nerds' interests.

"Wow! This bull head figure has such fine craftsmanship!" Sheldon immediately noticed the special item in Ian's backpack, but didn't imagine anything supernatural about it.

Leonard was the same.

"It's even motorized!" He was greatly amazed and suddenly had a very bold idea, very much wanting to ask Ian where he bought the figure.

"I'm not just a reserve capitalist and future bestselling author, I'm also a comic artist." Ian pulled out a sketchbook with the original image of The Boys prominently displayed on the cover.

It had to be said, he had a pretty good grasp of the two nerdy scientists' psychology.

"It's actually a comic, the artwork is really good."

Leonard was immediately attracted, even temporarily putting aside his bold idea, instinctively taking the The Boys manuscript from Ian's hands.

Sheldon also leaned over.

A moment later.

"Oh! This comic is really explosive!"

Both seasoned comic enthusiasts couldn't help but be amazed.

"Genius! He's really a comic genius! Leonard! Leonard! We have to work for him! That way we can threaten him to draw us into the comics too!"

Sheldon was obviously getting carried away. Ian was about to strike while the iron was hot and pull out the oppressive terms he learned from excellent people's entrepreneurs. However, just then, something completely unexpected happened without warning.

[Dormant profession has met revival conditions]

The system's voice suddenly rang out.

Sufficient weight of remembrance.

It was precisely that power that could transcend everything.
