SUP Chapter 59: The More You Think, The More Terrifying! Complications Upon Return
Added 2025-08-05 07:57:04 +0000 UTCIt seemed like emergency measures had been triggered.
"What's the situation?" Ian looked around and found that all the staff members were quite calm.
"Nothing, just a small problem."
Digital Tony smiled lightly, and the screen displayed a scene. In a closed transparent room, a massive green body was beating its chest and stamping its feet.
That was the Hulk. Or rather, the Hulk's corpse had been reanimated. Although the skull had been cut open and the brain removed, this body that had been dead for who knows how long still exhibited the state of a living being.
He was frantically smashing everything around him that he could see.
"Are you planning to raise zombies?"
Ian was quite astonished.
"We need a sufficiently powerful existence that can snap the fingers we need." Digital Tony explained, his tone carrying a somewhat wistful feeling.
"But it seems Dr. Betty still underestimated the madness of superheroes. That poison has already penetrated their bodies." Digital Tony didn't seem to feel regretful about this.
His gaze projected from the screen had always been focused on Ian. Ian didn't notice this, as his attention was entirely on the scene digital Tony was presenting.
He saw a group of heavily armed soldiers and Gwen rushing into the experimental room together, seemingly trying to tear off the tubes on the Hulk's body. However, these soldiers' firepower coverage was just like tickling the Hulk's remains.
Watching this waste of ammunition made Ian's heart ache. How great it would be if they all shot at him instead.
"My family education tells me that facing the plight of the weak, someone pure and good like me cannot stand by and watch!" After Ian finished speaking, he ran toward the direction where Betty had disappeared.
The access scanner beeped and let him through. The door slid open.
What came into view was a huge laboratory. In the central transparent cell, the Hulk's remains were wildly swinging fists, while Gwen moved nimbly like an agile cat between the attack intervals.
Her skills were really incredible. However, facing the massive yet exceptionally agile green giant, this girl was somewhat overwhelmed.
"Don't panic! Hold on!" Ian ran toward the door while shouting to Gwen in the room, "Think of your family! Think of your bonds! I'm coming to save you!"
His intention was to give Gwen some buffs. However, as soon as he finished speaking, the Hulk's fan-like giant palm came crashing down. Gwen, who had been like a graceful assassin, was directly smashed to pieces on the spot, splattered on the ground like a flattened mosquito.
"I told you to think of family! To think about bonds and friendship..." Ian's heart also dropped, but thinking that everything here was remnants from the past, he only sighed.
"This is what you call a small problem?" Ian looked around but couldn't find Betty. However, he saw Tony Stark's digital face displayed on a small screen on the room's wall.
"Mm."
Digital Tony nodded calmly.
"Wow."
Ian was greatly shocked.
"It seems there really is a madman in this room. I won't say who." He ran toward the alloy door at the laboratory room entrance. After scanning his face, he still passed through without obstruction.
"Others fight the Great Sage's remains, I fight the Hulk's remains. Everyone has a bright future." Ian stretched his body, and at this time the Hulk had also noticed him.
Originally, Ian wanted to first use the fallen soldiers' guns to hone his [Student] profession experience. However, just as he picked up a gun, the Hulk, taking advantage of his youth and not following martial ethics, punched over.
"Bang!"
Ian also wanted to dodge and weave, but he really underestimated the Hulk's speed and overestimated his eight-times-normal physical qualities. Perhaps there was also some blame on Captain America's ability to fight anyone to a draw.
"No way! Captain America can fight this thing?" Ian was sent flying, but since he wouldn't get injured in this world, by the time he got up, the Hulk had already thrown another punch.

"Good, good, good. I've been smashed into a mole, and it can still be called studying combat. You're worthy of being my system buddy." Ian's raised-hand blocking really had no meaning at all. If he weren't immune to all damage in this world, he would probably have to queue up with those soldiers and Gwen on the ground to become meat patties.

Ian was smashed so hard his entire body had sunk into the ground. However, "Actually, it feels pretty good?" Ian simply chose to enjoy it. Didn't he come in here just for leveling up? How wasn't leveling still leveling? He was just such a superhero who took things as they came. Of course, as a superhero, Ian didn't fail to protect everything. At least he protected the firearm in his hand that could be used to practice bullet-catching from being smashed.

Symbolically raising his hand to block, he gained continuous experience points. Ian was extremely happy.
However, this happiness didn't last too long. Suddenly, the Hulk's movements paused, and he collapsed to the ground without warning. Ian was about to shout that the battery was dead and to quickly charge the green hero when he saw a figure standing in front of him.
"What are you doing? Don't you know it's dangerous here?" It was that familiar clear female voice. In Ian's somewhat confused state, Gwen, wearing leather pants, pulled Ian out of the big pit.
"Your head is really hard..."
Gwen expressed amazement seeing Ian's intact head.
"Wait?! Gwen?"
Ian rubbed his eyes, then looked at the indescribable paste on the ground beside him, the cracked and explosive leather pants, indicating that what was smashed into meat paste was indeed Gwen.
Ian stared at the intact girl in front of him, suspecting he didn't understand the concept of "remnants from the past." However, the next moment his super intelligence really moved.
[My database records every life in this world...] Digital Tony's voice surfaced in Ian's mind. Just as he was about to speak to verify the absurd guess that had emerged in his heart.
"Dong~~~~"
The bell of return had already rung. Opening his eyes again, Ian found himself back in his familiar bedroom, on his familiar bed. Ian suddenly bounced up from his small bed, his mind still filled with the absurd and bizarre experience from just now.
"That Marvel world! No!"
Ian felt he had discovered some very terrifying circumstances. However, before he could think too much, something hard in the blankets made him uncomfortable.
"Hmm?"
Lifting the blanket, Ian's pupils contracted slightly in an instant. He saw a sci-fi styled firearm lying quietly in his arms.
