Oh wow, that is WILD! I will have to maybe look them up at some point, but that is so cool to find out - thank you for being patient until the end of Season 1 to let me know that - I really appreciate that comment and the info on this! 😀

As you know (from other commenters) is that Steins;Gate is based on a visual novel. VNs can differ wildly in presentation, but a popular one is, as you know, the harem genre. You've definitely mentioned this show being adjacent to a harem enough, and you were absolutely right 😆 In this one, you choose what texts to send to the past to change the timeline, and choose the ending you want. At any point you can choose for Okabe to stay with Moeka, or Ruka, or Feyris, and so on. However none of them are the true ending, which is saving both Mayuri and Kurisu. There's a lot of fun alternate endings, some good and some bad. They're definitely a trip if you ever want to look them up on your own. And don't think any of this will clue you into how 0 works - it's an entirely different experience altogether.
