Gege’s art is INCREDIBLE! Gojo was really drawn so well in this one! I really did like the Yuuji and Grasshopper/Locus fight and how Yuuji communicated with them – I can see why it stands out! Oh, what simple times they were back then! I agree that he enjoys being the strongest – maybe when he knows that he can’t be touched or harmed? I mean, when else CAN you be yourself?! I do enjoy that detail as well! And yessssss, reliving the madness while we get into the NEW madness of season 3 is going to be so chaotic! Thank you for the comment and thoughts on this volume!

Gosh, I had almost forgotten how good Gege's art is in this manga. He does make Gojo the coolest, most gorgeous man ever, bless his heart. I don't know exactly why, but the fight between Yuuji and the locus/grasshoper curse is one of my favorite fights in this arc. I don't know, it's super low key, and definitely not the most important compared to the rest of things that are happening in this arc, but I always loved seeing Yuuji interact with it. Seeing Gojo so serious before the fight, but then genuinely enjoying it is so interesting. He genuinely loves been the strongest, doesn't he? He looked just as static when fighting Toji, like he can finally be fully himself; and I guess that's some of it, that every day he needs to keep himself so carefully in check because he's just that much stronger, but when he is fighting a strong opponent - be it Toji who almost killed him, or now Jogo, Hanami and Choso - he doesn't need to be so careful, and he can just let himself be. In any case, it's an interesting detail that I enjoy. Of course, we only got the very tip of the iceberg that is the Shibuya Incident, and I can't wait to relieve the madness that's everything.
