We're starting a new series and this romcom has more than one twist and subversion right off the bat! As our protagonist, Narumi, is not what she seems in more ways than one and her only match may be her new colleague, Hirotaka...but not in the ways one may think!
Add that with a colorful cast of coworkers so far and this is going to be an INTERESTING short series, to say the least!

XD I really am envious of Koyanagi’s cosplay skills as well! And to see these characters building their relationships is so authentic and fun to see evolving in real time with the show. That is good to know about Koyanagi’s stage name as Hana! Thank you for clarifying that! I know next week I had the same issue with Amazon and the player, but for Episodes 3 and 4 at least, that won’t be a problem! Yay! I could not hide that side of myself in a relationship…I do wonder if someone I’m potentially dating sees the shelves of BL but then I have your mindset, too, you need to accept my interest to accept and love me! 😀 Onwards to the next episode!

And yes, them having flaws really shows them as “real” people, and they are growing on me! And someone else added about that “looking at the chest moment” - justice for flatness, though! 😀 That’s interesting to know it’s published with the same Comic Pool as Uramichi - that makes allll the sense! To answer the question about Fujita, Fujita is female and has done some short series and a BL besides Wotakoi. I think Narumi and Kiyotaka are highly relatable and I think you finding them slightly unlikeable is a testament to how real they feel. Narumi looking at Koyanagi chest is more of a comedic moment of I wish I could be like you moment since you've seen Haikyuu a similar moment happens between Yachi and Shimizu. Wotakoi is published in Comic Pool same as Life Lessons with Uramichi. Narumi is definitely interesting I would rather date someone interested in the same hobbies as me but I get people who wouldnt want that. I think apart of Narumi's resistance to dating Hirotaka is because they are childhood friends and she wants to keep the status quo and doesnt want things to fall apart if it doesnt work out. They've also just reunited so apart of her might only be able to see Hirotaka as the elementary or middle schooler that she once knew which might tie in to her not seeing him as a "man", I do feel sorry for Hirotaka who clearly has liked Narumi for a while now. Im looking forward to next episode to see what kind of shenanigans we get up to with these characters.

But I'm seriously jealous of Koyanagi's ability when it comes to cosplay. She's a definite pro! I also love the way they showed us Momose and Koyanagi's budding relationship in contrast to Kabakura and Nifuji's relationship. The latter's interactions never fail to make me giggle. Same for the juxtaposition of Nifuji being childish and then able to pull off being so suave and nonchalant like he is at the end of this episode as he propositions Momose 🥰 Amazon is truly awful for trying to skip the Endings for their anime. I know there are other platforms that do the same, but they at least give you more time to click and say you want to watch the credits. I've dated a fellow otaku before and it honestly just helped broaden what things I've watched, and same for my ex. I definitely couldn't be like Momose and hide that side of myself in order to have a relationship. But that's probably because I'm too much a "what you see is what you get" kind of person. And have the mentality of: if you can't accept my interests then you can't accept and love me. Little clarification: Ms. Hana is the cosplay name Koyanagi uses (kind of like a stage name). The character she was cosplaying in that picture is a male character.
