That memory of sasuke remembering itachi crying that night after finally hearing the truth is what ultimately just broke me

Itachi was the one closest to Sasuke. He died in front of Sasuke so he could awaken it.

The reason that Kisame called Madara Mizukage will come to clear in future in more details, for now i'll just simplify it for you by saying that "madara controlled 4th mizukage in the past with his sharingan" that's why kisame said that.

Strange that she thought Orochimaru had anything to do with Sasuke getting his MS. She’s usually on fire lol. You don’t have to kill the person closest to you to get your MS you just have to lose that person. Itachi lied to Sasuke about that part so that he would want to kill him. When Sasukae found out the truth about Itachi, he went back to being the person closest to him just like in their childhood which awakened his MS.(sorry Naruto, it’s not you lol). There’s also arguments that Itachi activated Sasuke’s MS essentially giving him the MS after implanting his amateratsu in him when he taped his forehead(strong evidence supports this being the actual case)

Wrong! Sasuke's mangekyo sharingan awakened due to him accepting the truth of itachi nothing to do with orochimaru

I fully agree. I do think it is enjoyable and seeing Naruto interact with Utakata and getting his story is meaningful for later encounters with him again. The timing is pretty bad xD

This upcoming filler arc is annoying because its position is bad... it isn't long and there are certain people who do show back up in main arc. but i agree either skim or even do a 2 episode a day special and you can finish in less than a week. It's not aweful in my opinion but its position sucks.

With regard to awakening the Mangekyo. I'm of the thought that it was the death of his brother, the one who was truly closest to him that awakened his eyes. Love and hate are powerful emotions of the same spectrum and their bond was strong. Orochimaru was just a nuisance that Itachi wanted to free Sasuke of.

Man I love Bee's character so much lmao. Ya know, given the pacing we're at, the 6 tails filler arc might be worth skimming through. The only parts I think that are important are the moments relevant to Utakata being the 6 tails jinchuriki and his backstory as well as the exchange with the mis'ts anbu unit that are hunting him. The whole ultimate jutsu of that particular clan and all is similar to the first filler arc we skipped with the kid that had some of the 9 tails power. It doesn't really add to the main story unlike the 3 tails arc did.
We don't even get Naruto's reaction to the loss of his sensei until after that filler arc which is ... annoying honestly. But it's something maybe you guys might wanna check out a synopsis for. I mean I'm here to watch it all with ya if you choose too as well.

I figured it would go hand in hand with the emotion of killing his older brother. Hate is just the other end of the spectrum of love and they were closer than anyone.

Before watching the show, I never really understood why Sasuke decided to destroy the lead village, but after seeing exactly what/how he felt, I finally understand why he wants the leaf to burn. The elders/village used his brother (who he admired more than anything) to wipe out the Uchiha which shattered his world and left him orphaned.

I don't know how Orochimaru is even considered close to Sasuke, he isn't the reason why Sasuke has the MS, otherwise he would have unlocked it the first time he killed Orchimaru not when Itachi did, also notice how Tobi said Itachi fought you to the brink to bestow powers onto you, and the timing of Sasuke MS awakening and the truth of Itachi

wouldnt consider orochimaru to be close to sasuke i mean it was only like 3 years right and sasuke was kinda just using him for power and then "killed" him himself and didnt give a shit lol

Sasuke got his MS from the overwhelming emotion of finding out the truth about itachi. He already loved his brother to begin with and to find out his betrayal was all for him broke him. Also a lot of people miss this the first time but that night of the massacre he awakened his sharingan. Since he buried those memories he also I guess put out his sharingan. In the fight with haku he reawakened it

Oh my god no. Orochimaru was not the catalyst to Sasuke awakening his Mangekyo Sharigan. It was the death of Itachi and the realization of the truth that caused them to awaken.

If you remember when they capture kisame on the island and searched his memory we learned that tobi was controlling the third misukage with his sharigan, and he was the previous chinchuriki of the 3 tails which we learned when naruto meets all the previous chinchuriki

Truth be told Sasuke repressing memories makes sense. We all thought sasuke unlocked his sharigan in the Haku fight but he already had two tomoe in one eye and one in another.
In this flash black he literally awoken it with double single Tomoe’s. The story also adds up since in part 1 Sasuke also hints to itachi crying that night
