It was just in the moment because he was about to kick the bucket. I think in good standing he wouldn’t defeat him so easily…even 4-Tailed Naruto couldn’t. That transference ritual is trippy. I just don’t remember 115, and I’m wondering why Sasuke said his name was Suigetsu…like the detail/reason didn’t come up again or did I miss it?

If you remember when a person is trapped in a Genjustu inflicting pain on themselves is a way to break the Genjustu. He broke itachi’s genjustu by ripping off his own hand. It is unexplained to the viewers, but for whatever weird reason, he decided to keep the hand lol 😂
