I think its probably worthwhile for them to watch it on this patreon considering it links with the Canon once again. From there I think it'll be best to skip ALLLLL the rest of the filler with exception to the Power-Chikara arc which is a must watch and maybe the Shinden/Hiden Novel adaptations which I never watched

The interesting characters really made it worthwhile and throwing Orochimaru, Kabuto, Akatsuki and the 3 tails into the mix raised the stakes big time. Gurens theme is really nice too. Definitely agree that it dragged on a bit too long
