Whiskey Wednesday
Added 2023-10-11 21:31:10 +0000 UTCI really enjoy trying new whiskeys and these days there are so many coming out, that it has been difficult to keep up! Adictivo Small Batch Whiskey was a gift from a dear friend who has been helping me keep up 😊 This is a 100% Single Malt Whiskey, aged in new hand-picked American Oak casks and finished in Adictivo Tequila casks, delivering a natural dark amber color.
This comes from the iconic brand known for their tequilas, they have now released their own Whiskey. I didn't know what to expect, as I had never tried a whiskey finished in tequila casks. It was very different and quite sweet. It's definitely appropriate as an after dinner sip to enjoy. You can always add some ice to soften the sweetness if you like. The bottle is gorgeous and it even comes with it's own pourer.

Nose: Notes of vanilla bean, sweet fruit, and fresh mint.
Palate: Pleasantly woody with accents of spice, smoke, and nutmeg.
Finish: Long, Sweet, Slightly toasty.
