Monday Vibes

Super Bowl weekend is Vegas can be a little daunting. I'm thinking how glad I am for not having to fly out this morning. I'm sure the airport is just crazy. I did this shoot on Friday and I could feel the energy on the strip already. I have to say I was a little disappointed in the game for not being closer, but it was a good time. Now, I just need someone to work my sore muscles. 💋

Hope your week starts out well. I'm super excited for the next two weeks. 💜

Colors of February

I just love these colors and this lingerie. You would think since I love this color so much, I would have more like it, but colors seem to come and go from the companies. Maybe I should come up with my own line. 💜

Hope you enjoy a look back and have a beautiful day. It really doesn't feel like winter here in the valley with temperatures in the 70's. I'll be in the mountains soon, so I'm sure I'll love the temps when I get back, but it will probably go in the opposite direction. 😂

Cleaning day

Do you have magic fingers? Because my sweet toes could use some love. I just melt with the thought of the sensation of a good foot massage. Makes me very weak and I might be coaxed to all kinds of things.

Flashback Friday

When I shot this set, we were at the height of the pandemic. How different things looked then. It taught us to get creative and I can't thank everyone enough for their support during those trying times. I don't like to think about how isolated things felt, but I do love the images that I was able to create in spite of situation. ❤️ 💋

Thirsty Thursday

Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House was another new restaurant I got to try recently. I was a little concerned, because I don’t eat spicy food. But I was truly pleasantly surprised- it was very good and the items I tried were delicious with just a bit of kick. (Not so good for those that like it really spicy, but they did have hot sauce to add to make it spicier!)

It was a tough time to visit, because the Rodeo was in town and the MGM hotel was full of cowboys. Service was a little challenging because of it, but it was fine because I had great company and good conversation! 

The dishes we had were the Deviled Eggs with Smoked Trout Roe, Cornbread, BBQ shrimp, Mac & Cheese and my entrée was Mesquite Smoked Creekstone Farms Heritage Duroc Pork Loin Chop. Everything was very flavorful. Cocktails included a Lemon Drop and Basil Hayden Bourbon.

Afterwards, an after dinner drink at the beautiful bar on the 23rd floor of the Waldrof Astoria for dessert. The views are just beautiful of the Strip and I enjoyed it sipping on another Basil Hayden.

Throwback Thursday

This is what some might call the ultimate concierge service when you can have your cocktails made exclusively in your suite. I do recommend the Suite Royale at the Nomad. The fantasies abound in this beautiful accommodation. 💋

Whiskey Wednesday

My hopes are never high when I try a celebrity restaurant in Las Vegas. Only because it feels like many times, it is all hype and no substance. So, I was so pleasantly surprised by The Bedford by Martha Stewart at the Paris. I’ve walked by this restaurant many times, and it looked very beautiful, but I didn't have a huge desire to try it. I am so glad I did! It was exceptionally good and the service was outstanding!

It was decorated beautifully for Christmas and we got to dine in one of the rooms that is supposed to embody being in her 1925 farmhouse dining room. There were two walls on each side with a video playing, as if you were looking outside her farmhouse windows. It was very unique with light snow coming down and it created a wonderful effect.

We started with the Housemade Bread basket which looked like a piece of art. JuneBug’s garden flatbreads, sour cherry-rosemary focaccia and warm Parker House rolls and Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail. For my entrée, I tried the Lemon Risotto with Sea Scallops and it was scrumptious. Everything was so tasty, and I paired it with Caesars Eagle Rare Barrel Bourbon-made exclusively for Caesars properties. It was yummy.

It was great to be wrong and I definitely will go back to The Bedford. Cheers 🥃

Throwback Thursday

I have so many beautiful sets and this one has to be one of my early favorites. It's not very often that I have a complete set that I love. This was not one of my easier shoots. Everything that could go wrong, seemed to. I forgot my hair dryer, the room had challenges, and the light seemed to not cooperate, so it was a surprise that I got so many great images. Hope you enjoy! 💋

Whiskey Wednesday

December was full of lots of wonderful dinners, one of them being at Peter Luger Steakhouse inside Caesars Palace. I have been hearing buzz about it since they opened a year ago, their first opening in the United States, outside of their two New York locations. They also have a location in Toyko. I am not one to fall for a lot of buzz, since there are so many grea restaurants in Las Vegas, but this one truly exceeded expectations. They have been around since 1887.

The ambiance is very open and reminiscent of a German Beer Hall. The menu is not huge, but that makes decision making much easier, and sometimes, I am grateful for that. Service was wonderful- even though, they say, they are known for their gruff staff- and we were greeted immediately and asked for our drink orders. I opted for a bourbon, Basil Hayden.

Appetizers started off with a monster Shrimp cocktail and delicious Caesar Salad. We opted for single steaks, as we wanted them cooked differently, and they are brought to the table, cut in slices with sizzling tallow. Wow! It melted in my mouth and was so flavorful! I didn’t try the baked potato, but it was huge and looked delicious. I definitely saved room for dessert and shared the chocolate mousse cake with freshly, house made whipped cream. Divine!

HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVE!!!

Wow, what a year it has been. I can't say thank you enough! There have been lots of ups and a few downs for me personally this year, but I'm glad to have made it through. When I look back at the images, it's always a reminder of the fun and hard work. I've gotten to travel a bit and have made many new friends. I hope I've kept you entertained and wanting more. There are lots of fun things planned for the new year, but I will always stay true to stockings, lingerie, and beautiful shoes.

Gifts

We're winding down this year and I wanted to show one of my early Christmas gifts. Let me start with a very big thank you to a generous, sweet friend from Southern California for this special edition Mont Blanc! 💕. I do love fountain pens and this one is very dear. A lot of you may know how much I love to ski and skiing in Europe was very special to me. This pen commemorates the winter games of 1924, so combining two things I love was even more beautiful.

I received many wonderful gifts this year and I promise to shoot them in the coming months. I want to thank all of you so much. I'm back in Las Vegas after a wonderful trip, even if it was a bit short. I do hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday. 💋
