Anims for the anim god!!!

And a chef outfit!

Ok still working on the imp cave stuff. The chef outfit is textured and I just need to toss weights on that and get it in game.

Then animations!

Sorry for the still images I wasn't totally sure if the animated versions would be NSFW and require me to paywall them or not here on Patreon. I'll try to drop some videos over on the discord in a minute though.

Possibly minor spoilers ahead!!!

The first image is if the player chooses the dominant path through the imp cave content. And the 2nd image is if they choose the submissive path through.

My current thinking, you know how in original Fallout the quest solutions were always dialogue, violence, stealth? I'm going to try those options but also add or mix them with a dominant and submissive path choice too. It seems like a relatively easy way to break things down and structure things.

But what do you think? Does this cover the bases? The dialogue path might end up being or at least giving the option of seduction. Dunno I want to test things out and see how it feels in game.

Next build will hopefully be soon! This will just be the imp guard encounter in this one. The environment stuff is done and ready, the models are done, the animations are getting close, then there's just dialogue tree and scripting. So close!

Anims for the anim god!!! Anims for the anim god!!! Anims for the anim god!!!

Comments

Yeah, I've been trying to figure out how to handle this. I think I'll have to add functional speech check skills and then start testing to really be sure. But totally leaning towards not having the indicator. I need to go back and look at how Arcanum did it. I seem to remember the player had to navigate multiple levels of the dialogue tree and stick to their lie at each level in order to fully pass some persuasion checks.

So, in the original Fallouts, dialogue that was a skill check was presented as regular dialogue. That is to say, there'd be no indicator that a speech check was a speech check. This was done so that the player had to read and understand what was to be chosen, instead of selecting the skill check option. I recommend that you test around with that to see how folks like it.
