2025-08-16 18:02:57 +0000 UTCKinger's ability to just create butterfly that heal Ragatha's health points and his ability as a therapist (as well as how he talks about how "7 years of computer development" in Episode 3, and his remarks about how "as digital beings we don't really need.." at the end of episode 1) furthers my theory that HE was the one who actually developed the game and was meant to be the one helping everyone with their mental/emotional issue.

I shouted when you clicked off it before it played XD I completely agree that it's great how a nonbinary character is the character talking about self love. Jax panicking at the end and possibly abstracting may point to Jax not being an NPC. Caine singing Daisy Bell is a reference to it being the first song sung by a computer in 1961.

The mention of Caine singing Daisy Bell is a reference to 2001: A Space Odyssey where one of the most famous evil AI in fiction HAL 9000 sings it while he’s being powered down. Jax and Pomni shooting Zooble is definitely a reference to Pulp Fiction where John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson also shoot someone simultaneously in a similar camera angle.

2025-08-16 06:56:16 +0000 UTCI wasn't expecting you to almost have a panic attack from Jax's panic attack. I guess that just shows how well done and realistic it is. Also, Michael Kovach deserves an Oscar for that performance during the fight with Pomni. That really shook me.

Yes, I didn't comment specific moments, but that's because I had literally just woken up, and kinda forgot😅. My theory of who's next to abstract, has changed after this episode. I now I think either Ragatha, Zooble, or Jax is next to abstract. Ragatha and Jax are slowly loosing it, and Zooble had that "heavenly light" on them, and makes me worried. And Caine... at this point, I think he too is slowly but steady loosing his sanity, and going crazy. We've seen this happen more and more ever since episode 3! And I'm TERRIFIED to see how BAD this is going to go. The episode as a whole, was great and entertaining. I was freaking rooting for Pomni and Jax. NO, I don't ship them! The only ones I actually ship in this show is Zooble and Gangle. But yeah, seeing Pomni attempt to be evil, was funny to me😆. And when she started attacking Jax, I was genuinely surprised. + the fact he didn't fight back, makes me think he genuinely cares about Pomni, but doesn't want to show it. And seeing Jax having a panic attack, made him part of my abstraction theory. I'm so worried about all them. I hope they get out of the circus! Look at what we've seen so far, Jax somehow has keys to everyone's rooms, kinger can summon butterflies and make up new rules to this game, ragatha did some Looney tunes trick on Jax that she didn't even know would work and pomni did the most unbelievable ricochet shot. What if the humans in the circus can somehow manipulate the world around them like Caine but they don't know it? It's just a theory but it's something to think about

2025-08-16 04:24:16 +0000 UTCLoved this episode! Gangle and Zooble's therapy session was really sweet. The same for Kinger and Ragatha. Very beautiful words and lessons. I kinda loved unhinged Pomni. I don't think she's ever had this much fun here. Her fight with Jax was... brutal. Him telling her he'd just move on if she abstracted. If you recall, Pomni had said one of the worst things you could do was make someone feel like they were nothing. She's speaking from experience. She's been there. Jax just turned that on her. Jax... I knew they were hiding something devastating behind that puckish demeanor... He truly believes all those terrible things about himself. So, he's gonna be an asshole. This way it's under his control. It's by design. He cares. He wants to be liked. But he doesn't know how to do that. He is... tragic. I loved this reveal into his character.

If you listen to the original song, it's actually a very sweet love song about making do with what you have, as long as you have each other, and the slowed "creepy" version is the very first computer taught to sing. Basically the original Hatsune Miku. And I just think it's kind of beautiful that the first song we taught technology to sing is a simple love song.
