Epic The Musical "The Thunder Saga" FULL Reaction!

In case it wasnt covered before, Its not just that Eury felt like he and Ody were brothers, they were literal brothers in law. Eury married Odysseus' sister. So not only was it a betrayal of a king and a friend, but family.

the artist for this, put Apollo's image at the statue of the sun, this is a common mistake. Apollo wasn't the god of the sun in Greek mythology until much later when the ROmans started messing about with the stories. It should have been Helios.

Outcast Spartan

In the song "Scylla," Odysseus couldn't warn his men about her, because I read about it, for my own knowledge and curiosity, so if I am wrong, call me out on it. Odysseus couldn't warn his men because it would have caused panic, and probably would have resulted in the men trying to fight Scylla and lose more than 6. Because to get through that place, you have to make 6 sacrifices for the 6 heads of Scylla. Again, I may be wrong; it was just something I read in an article about Greek monsters.

quick mythology fun fact: zeus only shows up to deal with odysseus and his crew because helios (the sun god at the time, the realm of the sun later gets passed to apollo) went to zeus and gave him an ultimatum. zeus either deals with the killing of one of his sacred cows or helios would raise the sun into the underworld and plunge the earth into eternal darkness!! so zeus didn’t really care as long as justice was served one way or the other

Oh and please dont think I'm hating! 💛 I've just spent too much time contemplating philosophy.

Ok I totally disagree with you on Eurylicus. Hes the reason over 500 men died. Poseidon wouldn't have caught up to them if Eurylicus trusted his captain/ didnt give to greed or whatever his excuse was. I know all of this started with Odyseus, but it got worse BECAUSE of his crew. ... we also seem to have different views on morality. Like on a massive scale. But maybe that's just my jaded world view at play. Not gonna lie, you got me frustrated lol. But I love watching others experience this all for the same time, so I'm definitely still watching.

I know the fandom seem to heavily prefer AnniFlamma's animatics for Thunder Bringer, but I honestly prefer Neal's (Same for God Games and Ruthlessness) And now the first half of the prophecy from the the Underworld Saga has been fulfilled -- "I See A Song of Past Romance" - Suffering, the duet between Ody and "Penelope" "I See A Sacrifice Of Man" Scylla, Odysseus knowingly and willingly sacrificing six men. "I See Portrayals of Betrayals" Both Odysseus betraying his crew (in both Scylla and Thunder Bringer), and the Mutiny, with the crew turning on Odysseus "A Brothers Final Stand" Eurylochus’ turning on Ody. He is both his brother through friendship AND his brother-in-law by way of being married to Ody's sister. And fun additional note: The Sun God in question is Helios. Circe's dad, and he does not take kindly to people messing with his cattle.
