Ashes and Blood may be my favorite hype song from this show, but Warwick/Vander’s theme: The Beast is so awesome and sad. If you listen to the song by itself the end is the song Powder sang in episode one of season one “Dear friend across the river” on the bridge in the opening scene. You can kind of hear it in the beginning too.

When he said her name, in an episode where she was getting reacquainted with her old self, my heart just sank. Jinx caring for Isha who she sees a lot of Powder in. An analogy for learning to love yourself?

Like Piltover poisons their air and controls the ventilation system to allows them to breathe, so they only get clean air on Piltover's terms. They are treated as lesser for simply being born in the Undercity. Isha is just a kid and she got locked up in a prison without them so much as a glance at her. Definitely going to listen to Paint the Town Blue a lot now lol I love Isha's new hairstyle and so sad that Sevika's arm didn't last very long XD I think it is interesting that in both seasons, Vi is absent from episode 4. In Japanese, 4 is considered an unlucky number from it sounds similar to the word for death. Feels like there is meaning in doing that and perhaps that is the reasoning.

2024-11-16 20:19:37 +0000 UTCSeeing the show as a ex-League of Legends player (I won't return to the game not even for Arcane XD) hits different than going in blind. As soon as I saw Singed with his hand cut I was saying: Oh, Warwick in coming!! In the game he has this ability to track enemy champions with low health aka bleeding. And they made magic with the character, the rage, the brutality, you can feeling it. Him being Vander? It's so freaking good, sad but hell yeah. Arcane is making a beautiful work with the lore of LoL cause trust me, the lore is a mess sometimes.
