Solanbi11's Monthly Update #2 (August 2025)

Hi everyone! August has come, and welcome to my monthly updates!

July was much harder than June for me, especially with how busy I was beside of producing animation. It's also rather monotonous since I only work everyday. But, without further ado, let's get to it! (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶)

---Yanagi's Animation : I Underestimated The Workload---

It's not any surprise, given I haven't even uploaded the animation (still rendering guys, 2 more shots T-T)

Anyway, in making her animation, I try to combine the style of Monika's animation with Lazarus's animation. So, it still have storyboards and solid direction, but utilize more loops and compositing work to reduce workload.

One day, I thought to myself, "Wait, Deputy Chief isn't Deputy Chief without her glasses!" then went to add glasses in every shot.

I am personally not really satisfied with the result. It have boring camera angle, static poses, and clunky movements. Even the shots are a bit jumped around. But well, let's just say "I am still learning" T-T I really tried my best, guys.

the background is rather easy because I limit myself to draw just wall and bed. It made me think to try using 3D background, which we will see next month!

My favourite part is definitely the last shot. The concept where Wise is still clothed while Yanagi is nude is also pretty hot. As if she is vulgar, animalistic, and less than human xd.

---July's Animation : Komi's Mom---

... I thought you guys love ZZZ Characters (˚ ˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥ ) I was so sad nobody voted ZZZ chars that I voted for Trigger myself.

The polls has concluded, and Komi's mom won with the last moment vote from a new member. Whoa whoa, last night it's Yuri who won, and I just wrote Yuri. Luckily I checked it again. Close call.

I want to try upholding the Yanagi's animation standard, using what I've learned from last animation to this animation. I haven't read the manga nor watch the anime, so there is still no idea. Maybe I will watch the anime first. But don't worry and please look forward for the release!

For Yuri voters, chill, the later we produce her nsfw animation, the better quality it'd be 😎.

---July's Slice of Life---

Well, as I said, it's quite monotonous. It's also very busy and tiring. I registered myself to Shadowverse Tournament but couldn't attend it, skipped Hoyofest, and even starts to miss dailys in Zenless and Heaven Burns Red. At one point, I also missed my daily coffee, and it makes my head hurts so much. Thankfully skipping dailys in ZZZ don't cause such symptoms.

But, there's a savior in last month's life called "CITY THE ANIMATION". That anime is a lot of fun. I also watch Panty & Stocking Season 2, it's very fun too. Trigger and Kyoani really produce good works...

Recently, I am engrossed interviews from Type-moon's early day (Tsukihime era), as well as Tatsuki Fujimoto's interview since Fire Punch until the more recent one. Reading those interviews help me to navigate a lot of stuffs and put things into perspective.
