Honor Among Thieves | Sly 3

I wanna get in front of 2 things right away. I do plan on making a video on Sly Cooper Thieves in Time eventually, but I don't know when, I think I wanna let Sly breathe for a while.
Secondly, the concurrent series model is going away too, at least for now. I'm not unhappy with it, in fact I think it had a lot of advantages, but I want to give Kingdom Hearts my full attention until that series is concluded. I haven't decided exactly how I'm going to adjust from there being two Early Access videos back to one, but I'll figure it out.
And lastly, thank you all so much. You've made this series what it is, and I am supremely satisfied with its finale. I have a lot of work to do to get the videos ready to release in their 8-hour form, but I'm extremely excited about it because this is the first series I've made where I've had that compilation in mind since the beginning (of the end). I hope you all look forward to what's next, and thank you again for seeing this one through.

Hearing you talk about what makes Sly 3 so poignant to me as a player, and seeing it spelt out and shown plainly has really laid out a lot of the downfalls of Sly 4. Whether intentionally or not. Take your time for whatever you decide to do for Sly 4, I feel like its gonna end up being less Game Break Down, and more Game Throw Down, but either way, I'll be happy, and waiting to watch it.

It’s funny because my favorite franchise is Kingdom Hearts which you could argue did the opposite as it’s still going lol. I think what makes a series for me is when I feel there is earnest and intent behind its creation. The problem with the MCU is that it’s just too many different directors and voices in one project. KH always felt like a passion project, even to this day, so I guess that’s why I never felt the same fatigue even 10 games in.

He's been a fan since he was young, and we have loved watching these together so I can learn more about the series and so he can relive his childhood. When he heard the episode for Dead Men Tell No Tales was out this morning, the excitement on his face was truly special. Ended up joining to watch the final episode. 2025-07-20 21:14:44 +0000 UTCThe double shot mechanic is not timing your shots, you jump, and before you hit the ground you shoot, then once you're on the ground, you press Square to attack, then X to cancel that with jump, and now you can shoot again. it works because Square cancels the animation of firing, and Jump cancels the animation of attacking, letting you shoot again.
