2024-05-13 04:06:17 +0000 UTCEp 6 is one of the best dragon fights I've seen since maybe 1977's Hobbit. But just as great are those "little moments" of animation. Those moments are simply spectacular! Stark closing his fist, Fern's stop and turn, Fern tucking her cloak and dress under when she sits down, Frieren as she nervously handles her book... just brilliant work. Another thing that floors me about the animation is how everything has "weight" and nothing feels "floaty". That's some serious skill on display.
