How Bi-weekly Updates Work
Added 2023-07-31 09:10:21 +0000 UTCHello Everyone,
To start the week, I would like to explain how the updates will work from now on. The story of Bloodcrave takes place over the course of summer and will be split into 12-14 in-game weeks. We will be releasing updates more or less every 14 days, and it will take 2-3 updates to have all content for the in-game week done. You can play through the unfinished week if you want to see the new scenes as soon as possible, but you won't be able to use this save to progress forward because you might have missed key events that weren't implemented yet. But to make it easier for you - the game will remember the scenes you have seen, so you can quickly skip the scenes you already saw when replaying a week.
When we release the update with a completed week, we will make it clear so you know when you can do a proper playthrough.
TL;DR version:
- Updates will be released every two weeks.
- Bloodcrave is split into in-game weeks.
- Completing all content for an in-game week might take us a few updates.
- Until an in-game week is completed, the saves can't be used to continue the game after that week.
- We will make it clear when a week is finished if you want to avoid having to replay content.
- The game remembers the scenes you have seen, so you can easily skip them when replaying the week.
Comments
Small side-update - we decided to delay the 'Company outing' scene, so it won't appear in the next update. Designers came up with a cool feature for this scene, but we won't be able to program it by Monday. We're sorry for the delay, but we believe that it is worth the wait.
