A late comment from me, but I didn't expect you to have anything up. Thank you for a wonderful reaction & sorry you're still not well. This was was a really touching episode of Tales of the Tardis - I thought I'd seen it but clearly not all of it! I'm not familiar with how The 7th Doctor & Ace parted company, I would guess it was told in the Audio adventures &/or novels.
Well, even though there is not much happening Dr Who wise, there's still an absolute metric ton of Dr Who related material out there, some of which I'd mentioned, so you'll never be short of content.
Well I guess, on to Blakes 7. Believe it or not, I've never really watched it & only saw a handful of episodes when it was originally broadcast, which seems like another lifetime ago. Am familiar with the premise & it has a kick-ass theme tune! I think you'll enjoy it & it will give me an excuse to finally check it out. Would love you to check out Sapphire & Steel one day. Weird & terrifying kind of sums it up! Perfect blend of Horror & Sci Fi. See you next time!

Loving the outfit, Jess 😍 Definitely gives off some Who vibes. Hope your feeling better ❤
Have always been especially fond of Sophie Aldred, ever since I was very young. She used to present this literacy educational show Words and Pictures and would read a book based on the letter of the episode. Didn't find out that she'd been on Doctor Who until a few years into the revival, which was just a nice lil bonus. Sophie's got a very calming voice, perfect for audiobooks...and she's done many. She wrote & narrated a book of her own: At Childhood's End where Ace meets the 13th Doctor. This publication actually predates her return in the show by a few years. Anyway several years ago, I had a brief moment where I was seriously considering taking my own life... won't go into the reasons as to why. Came to my senses though, but was left feeling very vulnerable - and a complete emotional wreck. Needed something to comfort me, and that book was it. Helped me realise that my problems weren't as world-ending as they seemed. Sophie to the rescue once again! 😊Would love to meet her one of these days, just to say thank you.
You should think about attending a con, Jess. Went to my 1st for a weekend trip, around this time last year. Was scouting it out for friends & family, and reporting back 😆 I also met Paul McGann and Daphne Ashbrook who were really nice!
Sophie's actually started a new podcast recently which I recommend. The first 3 eps featuring Sylvester, Katy Manning, and Janet Fielding!
Didn't suggest Blake's 7 myself, but I'm not surprised it's the new show. Interested to see what your take on it will be. That Avon, he is quite the character

You often see the connection and love between each Doctor's actor and thier companions, but it just hits different with Silv and Sophie. Thier chemistry and affection just shine ✨️

When she was building up how this was by far the most requests she'd ever gotten, I was thinking one of the early prestige HBO shows, most of all The Wire. Or maybe Deadwood since she's known to be such a big Justified fan. I've heard of this show a few times but never seen a second of it, so this is a great opportunity to be the totally blind one for once.

So, at the end of the video, you mention Blake’s 7. Sounds wonderful for everyone across the pond with that, as I’m sure that they’ll have lovely reactions from you to look forward to. I’m worried about not being able to share that, as, from the looks of it, that’s not a show available here in the States. Maybe it is, and I just don’t see it available. If it is, I look forward to the journey ahead with the show. If not, in that case, I hope you and everyone else will have a wonderful time with it. All the best to you, Jess.

I was so excited for this when they all first came out because I think there's something special in the relationship between these two, the actors as well as the characters. Or it's just my nostalgia as they were my tardis team 😁 I think it's nice that Sylvester and Sophie had a chance to bring closure to these characters, who, depending on which media, had various different endings, in books, comics and audios.

Hi, love seeing you're expanded universe Doctor Who reactions, I was wondering, would you consider reaction to the 1960s Dalek movies?
