Feat. their lucario OC Riley getting some action with Slate, the Arcanine (Who, don't forget, is a LOT bigger than others)
- 1- Sketch: The 1st sketch was made in an attempt to properly figure out the layout of the picture, even though I received instructions on the point of view I still had to see how to position the characters so everything woud be visible.
- 2- Lineart: With the sketch done, I now add the clean lineart to it along with some details. There was some thought about modifying the table to look more dented but I decided not to because that would involve a considerable amount of redraws and the client was good with the table as is
- 3- Flat colors: With all the lines in I now proceed to fill them an with the basic colors of the characters!
- 4- Gradients: With the colors in, I add an extra touch by giving each individual color a darker and lighter gradient to it.
- 5- Shading: Later I move in to some shadows and highlights done in different layers and with different settings.
- 6- Lighting effects: WIth most things added by now, I move in to some extra lighting effects such as glow and also enhance the shadows a bit while doing some color correction.
- 7- Final touches: Finally, I add a few extra environmental shadows.
