Late november's and December's patreon reward for Belthazor!
Featuring Monika from DDLC as a sexy dakimakura design!
Why get a pillow when you can get a MONIKA pillow!
These were the steps followed to create this pic:
- 1- Sketch 1: I drew the 1st view using like 4 different sketches, due to Monika's complicated design.
- 2- Sketch 2: On the 1st revision I realized the waist was just too thin and the head a tad too big, so I corrected those hiccups in here
- 3- 2nd sketch 1: The 2nd view was a little more difficult, but I managed to get it right on the 1st try!
- 4- Sketch 3: Final revision for the sketch, I fix the legs and make them bigger and longer.
- 5- 2nd Sketch 2: Final revision for the 2nd sketch, the legs and butt are now a little smaller and the face is less protruding!
- 6- Lineart: I draw the clean lines for the 1st version.
- 7- Flat colors: I fill in all the lines with the basic flat colors needed for the design.
- 8- Background base: I start working on the background now, I start with a simple color along with some gradients.
- 9- BG 2: Now I move on with the 1st details for the mattress, trying to give some depth to the character and make it look like it's sinking on it.
- 10- BG 3: I add further details and shadows to make it look even more like it.
- 11- Character integration: I put the background and character together!
- 12-16- The rest of the steps are the exact same thing as the ones described above!
