Here are all the steps taken to create the lastest reward for Koleyl!
- 1- Early sketch: I start sketching out the basic body of the character in the proper position I was tasked to do (trying my best to get the proper pose right based off the instructions from the patreon)
- 2- Final sketch: Then on a separate layer I add some extra ropes and also some tape on her mouth (since she's supposed to have her mouth covered)
- 3- Lineart: Then I moved on to the lineart, getting all the details done, for this step I had to look up how ropes looked and had to do some extra effort to draw them properly, which was quite time consuming, I ended up having separate layers for the body, and the ropes! and also some extra details on the body, like the ropes really squeezing her body from how tight they are (yeah I added this myself ;) )
- 4- Basic flats: Then I added all the basic colors to the most important places except the ropes
- 5- Full flats: Now since the ropes are very complex compared to everything else, I decided to do things smart and not paint them one by one but instead adding another layer below, and painted everything in one blob, easy!
- 6- Final touches: To give the finishing touches, I added some extra details to her face expression to really give out the feeling of helplessness and frustration! along a little environment shadow, just because. And voila! reward complete!
