A hotfix was just released fixing an issue where missing Yui's "On the other side" event would result in a soft lock when reaching Kodoku's "The last summer" event.

Community Event: Trivia Night!

Hi there!

I'll be hosting a Lost in You trivia night on November 15th from 9PM until 11PM CET. Time zone converter: https://dateful.com/convert/central-european-time-cet?t=9pm&d=2025-11-15

This event will take place in the Discord server and anyone can enter! All you need to bring is your knowledge of the game! You will compete with fellow community members in a round of 50 questions of varying difficulty. The top 3 will proceed to the finals where they get an additional 10 questions in a more traditional game show format featuring our very own buzzer! Questions will vary from simple multiple choice, to soundbites, to matching images with the corresponding answer. Do you think you know enough about LiY to put up a fight (or do you just want to have some good old fun)?

First place will win a 1 year subscription to Lost in You previews and early access updates on the platform of their choice, as well as a permanent "Trivia Night Winner 2025" role on the Discord server!

For those who might not have read and/or aren't subscribed for updates: This update is slightly shorter in terms of event count than usual due to helping family move and then my own purchase of a house with its associated move taking up a bunch of my time. That said, I'm expecting this update to be on par with 0.12 in terms of word count once everything's finished. I'm currently ~2k words short to match that, with one character event and a repeatable event left to write, so that seems very achievable.

Aside from this quick preview, I also wanted to update you all on the status of v0.13. I've briefed people in the Discord on the plans for this update already, but figured I should let subscribers who might not be in the server/aren't looking there all the time know.

So... V0.13 will be small. Definitely in terms of event count, and possibly word count as well.

This was always the plan (in fact, the Yume event was originally planned for v0.14), but I had really hoped to get this update out quickly. As I mentioned in passing with v0.12, I've been exceptionally busy. I recently bought a house, so I've been getting everything sorted for that (never take me furniture shopping, I'm like a woman in a clothing shop, I will waste away your entire afternoon) in addition to helping family move as well. The good news is... that should all be over with by the time July rolls around so I can fully focus on Lost in You again. I'm still working on the game as much as I can without completely mentally draining myself, as evidenced by the previews I'm still putting out, and the next few weeks should be a little less busy until my move-in date. Work is just going slower than I'd like, and that sucks.

That's kind of it, really. V0.13 is being worked on, just slower than you might be used to, much to my own dismay. On the bright side, the word-to-event ratio is looking good based on the fourth event I'm currently working on (should be done by the end of the weekend), so maybe the update won't feel as short as the event count might suggest.
