Ian Sr. was always a favorite character. But the series progresses and like life, people (characters) pass on. So happy that season 7B has started and that you are watching it. Really makes the show so much more pleasurable to watch it with you.

S1 Ep 12 was when Jamie and Claire first said "I love you" - when Jamie was joking about Claire's 'round arse wedged tight between his thighs' on the first horse ride together the night they met. It wasn't as steamy as the scene you were recalling (from Season 2) but very sweet nonetheless. Nice to see some old characters return. I wonder will Geilis recognise Roger? She recognised Brie from the photos Claire showed her in S3. So sad to see more favourite characters on the way out. The scene between Ian Snr and Young Ian was heart warming. Good to be back on the Outlander journey but not looking forward to another Claire/Jamie separation!
