All New 5e Adventures Are Free for the Time Being...

Hey all,

Just letting you know that we're offering up all our new adventures for free for the time being. This will be any adventures written and released this month (January 2026) plus any more that we do going forward.

Why?

Well, back in 2020 we did similar when we had COVID going. While everyone was quarantined, we decided to hand out our adventures to help them get through the tough times. Those who paid, could, and everyone else paid back in their own ways. It felt good.

Cut to 2026.

Right now, things are pretty grim. Part of me doesn't even want to log into social media; if you're a long time follower, you probably know where I stand on a lot of things. And just so we're clear, I've disabled comments on this post because I don't feel like debating anyone anymore.

Those of you who are paid patrons, you'll still have access to the full back catalog. Plus there's Buckler will still be locked and those at Gold+ still get book credits, etc. etc. So you'll still have benefits. It's just the new new stuff will be free for the time being.

Mainly, I'm doing this so I feel a bit better about myself as a creator. It hasn't been the easiest last few years. I've burned a lot of trust by being late AF on my crowdfunding projects, and there have been a few months here and there where I've neglected this account. So this is my way of saying, "Hey. I'm sorry. Let me pay the community back."

Anyways, expect more cool stuff this year on the Patreon. It's been fun writing 5e again, and I've got lots of cool ideas. I have zero plans for doing any more crowdfunding projects, at least until I've knocked out the massive backlog. It's getting there, but it's a big ol' elephant.
