2024-03-03 04:53:02 +0000 UTCDave this is fantastic. Easily the #1 thing that I need as a GM is... random tables for fleshing out a scene and setting. I got enough rules and have been GMing for decades so can house rule pretty well what I need. But in those decades I have found that the flavor of my games tend to keep being the same as I try to describe things so need outside inspiration. So I turn to random tables to help. The problem is most content creators make the same random tables. I'm drowning in name generators: elf names, tavern names, village names. What I need is help with flavor. I turn mostly to Raging Swan Press for that and IMO I consider them the gold standard for random generators. What you have created here is wonderfully useful. Your average GM will have birdfolk stat blocks but not the finishing touches to turn a birdfolk village into something their players can imagine and interact with. Please make more like this!
