Rangiku is now deep into her gestation phase. Inside her womb, nine small Stage 1 maggots remain connected by thin umbilical cords, floating in thick, nutrient-rich fluid. These are the undeveloped embryos — the first stage of the lifeform. But something unusual has happened. Seven larger, more mature Stage 2 larvae — which had already been born once — have crawled back into her womb. They push through the birth canal and settle deep inside, moving and shifting within her. Their constant motion increases her internal body heat and pressure. This activity stimulates faster growth in the unborn maggots, making the whole process more efficient. The system is strange, but complete. The mother and the offspring grow together in a closed cycle, each one helping the other develop. Rangiku’s body is no longer just a host — it’s a living chamber, made to carry and complete this strange, larvae reproduction.
