I have been a little quiet lately, and I do apologize. The partial reason for this - that some of you know from Discord conversations and other snippets on social media - is that my friends and I are actually starting our own convention!
It's called RaiKon, and it will be held this June in our city. We once had an anime convention that closed 5 years ago, and the generic comic con known as Thundercon started around that time. It's been an okay con, but it doesn't have much of the content we want to see. On our way back from Daishocon last November, we thought to ourselves...
And so the idea was born. It has proven to be an exhausting adventure, but finally we have signed with a venue and are almost ready to start selling tickets.
I wish all of my patrons could come, but unfortunately most of you are VERY far away. ^^;; I promise to show all of you the process leading up to it in addition to photos from the event. <3
