Devotion with Ron Kuhwede

How relevant is it for a picture who the model is? I particularly love to disappear completely into the photographer's vision during the creative process and become one with it. My person as such becomes unimportant, only dedication and flow count. I recently had a conversation with a photographer about this very topic. In my opinion, the model only contributes 20-30% to the image, the essence of a photo (vision, planning, perspective, pressing the shutter at the right moment,...) is created by the photographer. That sounds passive and of course thatโ€˜s not the case with all work I've ever been involved in. The question remains too interesting not to ask. What do you think? How crucial is the WHO in a picture?
