Valenvent 2025

It’s the time of the year when we start to look forward to our next Valenvent!!

'Valenvent' is our first patron exclusive event of the year, running from the 1st to 14th February 2025 and available to Silver, Gold & Platinum Patrons. Each year Kay produces an exclusive design for you all to knit in the run up to Valentine's Day.

Historically we have kept the pattern a secret up until the 1st of February. But we all need something to look forward to in January. So for the first time, we are thrilled to announce TODAY what we will all be knitting! This means you can choose exactly the right yarn, and get very excited of course!

This year we will be knitting the Love Story Socks 💖

Kay will tell you all about the inspiration for this design in the first video that will accompany the series. As you will see from the photo above, Kay used a main colour and 2 co-ordinating mini skeins. You can use whatever fingering weight yarn you feel will work for you, but there’s a note below of the details of the yarn that Kay used.

Dandelion and Dogwood sock set in ‘Iced Cinnamon Stars'.

This yarn has been in our stash for a couple of years so it may not be available for purchase right now. This design will work well with a variety of yarns, from tonals to speckled/variegated - the choice is yours! You can use two minis, or just one if you prefer.

The socks were knitted using a 2.5mm needle, but you should use whatever needle size you normally use for socks.

Kay will see you on the 30th of January with a special 'Valenvent Design Diary'. The 'Love Story Socks' will then launch at 7am GMT on the 1st February along with the video series which will run up until the 14th February.

Let the excitement begin!!

Dan and Kay xx
