So fun! I don't like beer or onions, lol, but I still enjoyed watching you taste them. Loving the advent calendar, as always. Thank you!

I think that small breweries do not have the ability to bottle their beers, they often have small batches. Instead they often have a mobile canner come to the brewery and can the beer. Then they put a sticker around the entire can. I've had great beers in both cans and bottles. I hope for 5+ pounds you finished that beer!

Kathy Harry

Your taste test was delightful, wish I was there!🥰

Debbie McGovern

Great fun watching you taste test🤓

Theresa Savaria

It's all becoming a blur! Cracked me up. I loved your taste test!

Gwen Murillo

I had to double check with Scott about this but he said the main difference between cans and bottles is that cans can store the beer better. Light through glass, for example, impacts the taste and longevity so cans caught on pretty quickly with the surge in craft breweries a few years back. We have both bottles and cans but cans have definitely picked up on popularity! Love the beer taste tests 😁

Jenn

We have both bottles and cans of beer in the US. I love your taste tests they all look yummy!

Sandra Smith

Oh my, that was very enjoyable. As someone who loves to try new things that was fun. Loved seeing your expression. As a new member I look forward to watching the next advent. I wish that I wasn't still finishing my holiday gift knitting so, thati could have joined in. Kay and Dan have a wonderful Christmas 🎄

Kathy Schiller

I love how Kay got more voluble the more the beer was consumed! Hope you got to finish them off 🍺

Alison Carter

I love the taste tests because we don’t have those brand here in the US! But I wonder if the vinegar chips and the ingredients in the chutneys affect the taste of the beers!? Love the series and look forward to each day.

Cheryl Mendez

I always love your taste tests! You can get pretty much any beer here in the US, either bottles or cans. We usually do bottles in our house!

Lisa Lessard

Great taste test with local produce! Most Friday’s we do a cheese, charcuterie and wine evening…some local produce, some supermarket. It’s relaxed, we try different things and the best thing of all…no cooking x

Knitty Banter

I’m not a massive chutney or pickle fan, but I don’t mind the caramelised onion ones. Crisps on the other hand…..if ever you need a volunteer to taste crisps, count me in 😂I love the, that much, I don’t buy them anymore…hubby gets some occasionally and I have to stop myself from eating the whole bag myself 🙈🤎

Scully

Oh I do so love your taste tests!! 😊 I'm not a beer drinker - however you have definitely inspired me to get out the cheese and chutney after dinner tonight... LOL... Lovely fun episode... 🎄✨

Gerrie C

Sounds as though with the beer, you get what you pay for. It's all down to personal taste though isn't it? But it was lovely to see you tasting them. I can't wait to see tomorrow's cast on!
