Love this video!! Pixie is new to me so thx. I've loved Polka Dot creek for awhile. So thoughtful to include scrap yarn and show us a pink sock concept. Keep it up Kay you are so encouraging and inspirational

Sandi McMillan

I could watch you talk about yarn all day!!

Hi Sue! We most certainly don't think you or anyone is a yarn snob! Premium acrylic is how certain acrylic yarns are referred to on the side of the yarn ball. We made a joke of it in a review some months ago and it sort of stuck :-) We posed the same question, what makes it premium. Single use plastics are as you say bad, there are though many knitters out there who are knitting to a budget. So we think it's important we give a broad spectrum of yarn reviews. Best wishes to you for a great 2025.

Hello, I'm new to Bakery Bears. Could you please explain what you mean by premium acrylic? I really try to only use natural fibre, no doubt in your eyes I'm a yarn snob but don't you agree that plastic is the enemy and should be avoided at all costs?

Sue Green

Excellent choice, Bryony and i will be cowl twins in different locations! Thanks to your recommendation i made my Claire's boyfriend socks in the drops fiesta and they were a big hit. He is a farmer and bike mechanic so his socks need to be hard wearing and so far they are holding up well. I may need to buy some Polka Dot Creek yarn and Pixie yarn they look so fun!
