Speaking of Audiobook Auditions...
Added 2024-04-28 08:38:01 +0000 UTCI thought about sharing the audio auditions I've been submitting for new titles coming to Audible. So far I haven't landed a project yet, and two of these auditions never got submitted because the projects closed submissions just after I recorded the auditions, which sucks... but I'll keep trying!
So, would you like it if I start posting my auditions here? You'll get to hear me read 3-5 minutes of a book, often times in various genres that are not what you typically hear from me. I do like to record erotica, and sexy romances, but honestly, it would be nice to change it up and read a mystery, or a horror, or a non-fiction self-help, or bioagraphy, etc.
(Authors can close the auditions anytime they want, either because they've found someone to offer the role to, or because they decide to publish them somewhere else, or they may not have received any good auditions and decided to put the audio development on hold, or maybe they decide to look elsewhere for a narrator instead of on ACX... you just never know what happens when they decide to stop accepting auditions. Just figured I'd explain how it works because most people probably wouldn't know...)
