Looking ahead to 2020 - Have your say!
Added 2019-12-28 14:44:35 +0000 UTCDon't worry, I've got one more audio for 2019, it will be released later today!
Before the year comes to an end I just wanted to do a bit of reflection about 2019, and ask for some input from you as well about content for 2020!
This year has been one heck of a rollercoaster ride, but the older I get the more I realize that it's like that more often than not. Being a grownup is stressful, and I'm still acclimating to it - but I have to say that Adulting is super hard, and juggling being a part-time pseudo-parent to two kids that are taller than me (and think that gives them some sort of advantage over me) is even harder! Sometimes I wish I could just go back to being a kid, when things were simpler and I didn't have to work so hard to pay bills and stuff!
I've been fortunate to work with a lot of talented creators this year, on some one-off project and a few ongoing longer projects that are continuing into 2020. Honestly, I enjoy both types. One-off animations are cool because you get to voice different things all the time, but there is something special about being able to adopt an OC in a game or an animation series, and revisit that character every time there is a new episode or game release.
As far as my Patreon content is concerned, I released 62 Audio files in 2019! That's a lot of content and I'm super grateful to all the scriptwriters who made that possible. Next time you're enjoying one of my recordings, keep in mind that for every release, there was someone else who wrote that script and deserves a huge chunk of the credit and your admiration besides me! That's another reason that it's super wonderful when you LIKE my posts here on Patreon when I release something, because the writer of that script can see how many Likes it received and read any comments you might leave, and that's gotta be rewarding for them!
That brings me to a topic I want to discuss regarding scripts. The pool of people who are sending me scripts is getting smaller and smaller, and I want to make sure that I'm putting out content that everyone can enjoy, and that it doesn't get repetitive or doesn't focus on "one person's" kinks too intently. That's why I like getting scripts from lots of different sources. But I know that everyone can't afford to commission me for their script readings, and that some people just don't have the time or inclination or talent to write scripts themselves - me included! So I've been tossing around some ideas of what I can do to make it easier/cheaper for more people to be involved in the scriptwriting role. Everything from making some cheaper options, to doing away with the Scriptwriter's Tier all together and just offering a Patron Discount on my normal audio commission rates.
I also used to run the script contest, but a few times I announced a contest there weren't enough submissions to make it worth it. So not sure how to entice more involvement there, if getting your script recorded for free doesn't sweeten the deal for people. :(
So, I've put up a little poll below, and I'd love to see what people think about some of these statements. Feel free to check the boxes to answer YES on as many statements as you agree with!
(**As a point of reference, each 500 words of a script is about 4 minutes of finished Audio. So 1000 words is about 8 minutes, 1500 words about 12 minutes etc. This obviously varies if there are extended passages of moaning/blowjob scenes etc.)

Sounds familiar, is he in One Direction? *smirks*

2020-01-03 02:47:00 +0000 UTCChange a word or two here and there and it's the same thing your mom and dad said about your music and it's the same their mom and dad said about their music, etc., etc.., etc.. "Now Glenn Miller, THAT was music!" LOL

2020-01-01 14:14:44 +0000 UTCI'll consider that next time we do a script contest, for sure. And yes, I keep hoping that I'll find time to do something myself but usually I barely have enough time to record and edit the scripts in my queue, no real time for me to sit down and write my own stuff, plus I suck at it :p

2020-01-01 03:45:35 +0000 UTCbtw I think if you provided a subject for the stript writing contest you might get more entries that way rather than them coming up with their own ideas, and you should be a judge too as well as the patreons...I also wish you would write some too🙏 some of my faves are yours, just a thought Happy new year

2019-12-31 19:37:18 +0000 UTCYes Daddy’s daughter is 13 and obsessed with K-Pop. That’s how I know that I am now considered “old”. I have zero interest in watching a bunch of androgynous teenybopper boys do dance routines to heavily auto tuned music lyrics that occasionally use a few words in English, mostly out of context or grammatically incorrect. How is this the hottest trend in youth music these days? Kids!

2019-12-31 01:22:34 +0000 UTCOn the subject of adulting I would like to point out I remember a time my mother said to me, You remember that it was 12 years ago." Which I was going to reply with in my mind "I can't remember back that far..." When I realized I could actually remember 12 years ago. I was no longer 18 I was 25. And have fun talking about hit songs that came out ten years ago with someone who is between 13 and 16, "Who that?".
