Frank wrote A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987), The Blob (1988), The Fly II (1989). And directed The Shawshank Redemption (1994) and The Green Mile (1999) before The Mist and brining The Walking Dead comic to life as a TV series. Watching Walking Dead seasons 1-3, you'll see a lot of individuals that appeared in his previous works.
