How have you been?
Here are a few thumbnails I did for my course's last project.
We had to pick a song out of 5 options to make an illustration. I picked Anunciação by the Brazilian singer, Alceu Vanlença. This song is very spiritual to me, and it talks about seeing the signs of a divine visit on a Sunday morning, like it's an old friend. Here's a bit of a crude translation to English, but it's worth a look, if you like.
I'm still having trouble grieving the loss of a loved one. It's been months, but there are days it gets so much harder. Quarantine made things worse, but working on this painting did help me.
We used to listen to this song together, so that's what brought back so many memories and made me want to paint this.
Anyway, I know it's not No North related, but I hope you like this :)
