Oh, thanks for sharing! We have a store SIMILAR to this in Houston called EPO (Electronics Parts Outlet) but it's not a straight up eWaste business, more like a surplus store. It's always a fun trip!

I actually DID get that HP working. Turns out I was using the wrong barrel jack adapter for the power supply. Using the correct connector got it working!
And I JUST posted the video on the DDR2 system haha

That store backroom reminded me ... slightly ... of my basement! Ok - I don't have *nearly* that much stuff but ,,, I have the Mac ... the Nintendo ... other old stuff.
Knowing you, you'll get that retail computer working - and I admit to being curious about the one that needs DDR2 RAM.
Fun! Thanks!

Yeah I JUST started tinkering with it today. I found it in a stack of busted wyse systems so I just made the assumption.

Great video - another reminder to go through my current "hoard" of e-waste to do something with those systems haha

That Eee PC is not really a thin client. It's more like a NUC or mini PC. It is an EeeBox, which is the desktop version of the venerable EeePC netbook, that was all the rage back in the late-00s.

We are not the ones who waste. We live off the waste of those with plenty. They waste the waste we enjoy. We enjoy waste. EWASTE!
