Wanted to take a quick break from the stress of long anims. My first thought was to keep the Gals train rolling with Reina, but I didn't like the ideas I had at the moment, so she'll have to wait for next time. I'm 100% certain that she can work as a gal tho.
Anyway, ended up experimenting with this moody piece. Enjoy!
Yippie! We've survived another animation! I'm not sure if this will appease the more vanilla Jun enthusiasts, but working with her again did make me appreciate her even more. Adding to the endless pile of ideas, I now want to both pivot into a proper Unknown anim and do something more normal with traditional Jun. Which will come first, I have no idea. 😆
I've started working on the next anim (and streaming it!) while waiting for audio, but it might take a while. I'll post some WIPs and the general idea for the project next week. For now, enjoy Jun(known) and the weekend!
I want to be more deliberate in how I use colors (and how they're actually rendered), so I've spent the last 3 days practicing just that! Even though 90% my anims gravitate towards darker color schemes, I do enjoy going crazy on vibrant colors too. The other thing I wanted to try was to make the scenery more busy than usual, while keeping the center of attention simpler. It's the opposite of what you'd normally expect (detailed subject and simple background), but the effect IN THEORY should be the same - your eyes are naturally guided to rest on the image's center of attention.
Also, I've had an abandoned project that used pasties for months now and it bothered the hell out of me that I never released anything with them.
Next week is Jun audio and, if everything goes well, more Blender streams on our server. Enjoy!
Just a silly little thing I put together for Halloween. I was planning to just make a still, but Spectra was like "you gonna animate that?" and uhhh... I figured why not. And it was fun!
This also makes it my first Cycles animation. It's okay for super short stuff, this took mere 8 hours to render with the final resolution (as opposed to Jun being done in 4), but I have no idea how do so many animators do long videos with it. One of Eevee's (my usual render engine) biggest limitations is transparency. Even if you crank up the samples, it just won't be able to render glass like this, without noise and with a clearly visible texture (handprints).
We're still working on sound for Jun, so stay tuned for that. And happy Halloween!
It's the spooky season! I've heard a LOT of feedback on Jun's glowing eyes last time. It was partly a reference to Unknown, and partly a stylistic choice, I just like adding a bit of emission to eyes in general. But it got me thinking... why not lean all the way into it? Fits well with femdom too, right? I just gotta figure out Unknown's goo bits for next time.
This is also my first time trying a new fluid sim - FluidLab. It's both more robust and more finicky than Fluid Particles that I used before. Definitely has a bigger learning curve, but I think it's gonna be my new go-to method. I still need to tweak the 💦 here tho, it's a bit slow. Shout-out to Kaldean for both introducing it to me and helping with troubleshooting. He's big on fluids in general. :3
Anyway! Contacting VAs today, and polishing things here and there while waiting for 'em. Enjoy!
People keep asking for her, and I think I finally found her a good niche, so Jun should come up more often now~ I'm on track to push out the first look next week. Got one minute of animation done, just climax and a bit of aftercare left, then a lot of polishing through the whole thing. Gonna try a new fluid method, so that's... hopefully gonna be fun!
Anyway, not much to yap about this time. Have a good weekend!
Took a bit longer than expected, I had some personal stuff keeping me from working this week. D: Getting back to business as usual now tho. In the end, I couldn't stop myself from putting too much time into polishing this, but I still really enjoyed working on the shorter format once again. Much like the Xiaoyu condom anim. This... might be the way to go for ropes? I still haven't found a fool-proof and easy way to animate them, but not having to worry about polishing the clipping and deformations for over a minute straight does help my sanity.
Also, now featuring an EroDrunky easter egg! I really like his art style and he let me borrow his Asuka for this one. Go check him out, he draws a lot of fighting game girls! Audio by Evilaudio, voiced by Vixxen.
Who could it be!? I wanted to cast Sayuri for this one, but then I remembered we've got another underused milf who won't get me DMCA'd. Been working on this (and streaming it!) while waiting for Lili's VA, and the anim is up to 35 seconds already. I hear folks like my femdom animations, so hopefully this one will hit the spot too.
I also have another very short anim in the works, but that'll have to stay a secret for now. Have a good weekend!
I was in the mood for doing something shorter and more unique, so you get two anims this month! Been a while since I've done ropes too and uh... it's gonna be a while again, I reckon. Making them follow the body and not clip at every opportunity is absolutely agonizing. 💀 Anyway, back to the polishing cave. Enjoy!
Woo! Apologies for the lack of updates last week, I had some IRL business pressing down on me. (if you're ever wondering whether I'm alive or active, feel free to drop by our Discord server tho :3) This pose was... an ordeal alright. Manageable, but restrictive - there's only so many things Marie can do up there. For the next longer anim, I think I wanna try multiple poses. On the other hand, Spizzy's Marie. She's great! He's got a bunch of other DoAs too, and you can bet I'll give his Momiji (I was thinking of letting her take this anim initially, but felt like this idea had more potential) and Nyo a shot eventually. VAs are Vixxen reprising as Marie and MidnightDatura as Helena. Anyway, gyaru variant is coming tomorrow! Enjoy!
There's still a bunch of things I need to polish up and, most importantly, add fluids, but it's been a while since my last post, so here you go. Gonna continue working on it while waiting for audio. There's going to be some dialogue, I'll leave it to your imagination for now. Enjoy! And have fun with Silksong too!
I just saw that the poll for this ended 29! days ago wtf. I was too locked in on finishing Nina and the Sayuyu collab... anyway... Marie now has my full attention. Struggling a little bit with technical stuff (especially the hair D:), and there's basically no end of little things I need to polish, but we're at 40 seconds blocked out already. Hopefully the 2nd half will go well! Not planning on streaming this one as the pose is a lot of pain to work with and I'm still adjusting to Blender 4.5 anyway. Anyway, that's it for now. Have a good week!
I wasn't planning on continuing this, but 3DLAP did - and offered me to take a shot at the 2nd part of the set too. I mostly treated it as a chance to explore different lighting ideas I had for a while, and mostly I've learned that... I hate doing sets! I swear to god, keeping each frame both consistent and detailed (NEVERMIND DECENT-LOOKING) is harder than a minute of animation. I get hung up on the little things too much for this. 😭
Once again, big shoutout to 3DLoveAndPeace - they're responsible for the posing and overall direction of this set. I just polish and make things darker and wetter. That's enough Sayuyu for now. I'll post a WIP of the poll winner this weekend, so you can stay tuned for that. Enjoy!
EDIT: Updated the videos to include two audio tracks: with (this should be the default) and without male voices. You'll need a dedicated media player (I know Firefox can't switch them, at least by default) and some suspension of disbelief. Going forward, this will be the standard approach for anims with male audio. Public versions will still only have a single audio track, so this is an extra thing for you cool people.
I've also added chapter markers! :3
Nina got stuck in development hell for various reasons, but it's finally over! I wanted to animate instant loss for a while now, and that was the entire idea initially, but, as usual, the scope expanded a bit as I worked on it. Really happy with how the choking turned out, in particular, both visually and sound-wise. It's a different kind of climax. 😎
Also, first time working with a male VA. Ivan nailed everything I had in mind and was super quick to boot. Dunno how often will we need male dialogue, but it's an option from now on!
Anyway, can't wait to fully shift my attention to #69. Enjoy!
Woo, back to my wife! This is a collab with 3DLoveAndPeace - a few weeks ago, we got talking about random ideas we had, and it turned out... we wanted to do the exact same concept for a while! Except I'm too swamped with animation projects to act on this urge, and 3DLAP doesn't use Marvelous Designer. But I do, and I desperately need practice with it! So we decided to team up. While I was on sewing duty and had some input on other things, 3DLAP handled the posing and lighting. There's versions of the set in my lighting style and theirs too.
Go check out 3DLAP's Patreon - this wouldn't be possible without them, as I absolutely do not have the patience for long sets. They do a LOT more like this! :3
In other news, I recovered my MEGA and finished the new Pixeldrain archive, we'll be sticking with it for now. MEGA's compliance team tells me someone - falsely - reported both of my supporter archives. Dunno whose shitlist am I on, but I'm glad MEGA had my back, at least.
Since I'll have to reorganize everything, might as well get your opinions on the structure in the Pixeldrain archive. I don't like the idea of having separate folders for each project, but I can organize the files a little bit more than not at all.
P.S.: I've updated the links in the welcome notes. Still need to upload the oldest anims, but you'll at least have access to my recent works.
Sooo I just found out that my MEGA got permabanned for... whatever reason. They didn't provide an explanation, or warning, or even a notification on email. Just poof. I'm gonna guess it's related to the payment processors' and government overreach recently, and they don't need a reason to get rid of NSFW material.
We're moving over to Pixeldrain. I just need some time to organize my shit and upload everything. Dropping the link here for now: https://pixeldrain.com/d/iazxfzrJ
I'll update the welcome notes as soon as I'm done organizing it.
In better news, here's a WIP of something I've been working on with 3DLoveAndPeace! Not an animation, just a set in 3DLAP's style - and with me on clothing duty. 😎
Funni number and all that. I will continue Faye's anim regardless in the near future, so don't worry about that - just vote for what you want to see for anim #69.
And pray that we get 68's audio before I'm done with 69. 😶
Tipsy blessed us with new bubble tech, so I took this chance to test it out! Super cool stuff, definitely using it again next time we do deepthroating. I gotta be less lazy when it comes to special effects like this in general too. If you're interested in the tech, you can find it on our server! It uses geonodes and is fairly straightforward to setup.
Xiaoyu speedrun is done! Somehow, both Pixie and Evilaudio were ready to do their part in a single day too. It's really refreshing when things get done quick.
Inspiration for this one was Seto Yuuki's Chitose. Xiaoyu is just a step ahead of Chitose, actually managing to put the thing on without incidents, gagging or not. I gotta use doujinshi as reference more often!
For fellow Blender nerds: I used a couple of CGMatter's addons, all of which can be found in his Genie bundle. Specifically, the Shrinkwrap (for making the rubber wrap around the pp) and Rain. There's lots and lots of different ways to do rain, but trying his method seemed appropriate this time. Got nothing but praise for them, worth every dollar. Defying all my expectations, I... managed to render rain separately and then composite it over the rest of the scene. Rendering one frame of Xiaoyu and the rest takes 4 seconds. Rendering just the rain with motion blur (you need it to get a convincing look - but it's pretty heavy on my CPU) required 9 (!) seconds per frame. So rendering it once and then reusing it saves... you do the math. 😵
Wanted to do something short and sweet, but this went a bit beyond what I'd call a practice short. Also, streamed the whole process on our server! It's... fun when projects don't drag on for a month. 😅 Enjoy!
Woo, the first anim with R2 Studio's (also known as H69Verse now) model is finished! It took me a second to adjust my workflow, but they're good stuff! And the few issues I had with this rig, he's actually solved already in the newer models. Tekken and DoA come first, but I'm really looking forward to revisiting Faye and checking out more of R2's rigs. Also, voiced by the one and only PixieWillow! She's... actually really easy to work with! I can see why she's everyone's favorite now. You'll be hearing her again.
And speaking of Tekken and DoA - it was a bit of a surprise to see them neck-and-neck In the poll. I have a short Tekken anim in the pipeline (which I am streaming on our server!), but I'll do my best to give DoAs some love. Sayuri is always on my mind, and I'm pretty excited to check out Spizzy's models too. Muh 'miji... and apparently Marie was a hit? Degenerates.
You know how it goes! This still needs some polishing, and I want to try redoing the lighting while waiting for audio, BUT I wasn't satisfied with releasing only one shorter anim this month, so here you go! This is gonna be the full length otherwise. Trying some new ideas with this one, just for Faye. 🙂 There ARE soft subs in the video, even tho I'm not planning much dialogue.
Here's something a little different! I've had my eye on R2 Studio's models for a while, and Faye Valentine seemed like the best one to start with. He's got a bunch of other girls who are on my list too - Lucy from Edgerunners, Chainsaw Man's Makima, Reika of the Gantz fame... You get the idea.
We're at 30 seconds so far and I actually streamed the entire process on our server. Still can't believe that it makes me more productive, but I'll take it!
In other news, Nina is still happening, here's a shot from the intro. It's just a blockout for now, I'm waiting for audio before I do anything more on that end. Not happy with how long it's taking, but I needed a moment to process the pacing and dialogue. The good news is that the anim will be more interesting for it, I think!
Wanted to try a different color scheme, rather than usual cool night style. Doubt I could use this one often, but it was an interesting experiment!
I've reuploaded the glitching white version btw. Sorry it took so long, I went to bed right after posting. 😆 It was the encoder level (last time was profile) this time... I'm gonna set default to 5.1 from now on, so it doesn't happen again, FOR SURE THIS TIME. Thank you guys for notifying me! Enjoy!
Honestly, I kinda missed doing shorter anims. It's not as exciting as planning out over a minute of progression, but also a lot more relaxing. And more importantly, it lets me practice different things! I got an important reminder how much little accessories can add - and how they aren't at all difficult to implement. Not to mention another chance to practice high-key lighting. Could be nice to do these in-between the longer anims. Enjoy!
Surprise quickie project! The goal with this one was to test... streaming. And it was a success! I streamed most of the process on our server, except for final polishing, and it actually helped me lock in. There's no way I'll do this for every anim, but I'll try it more often in the future. Enjoy!
