Hellooooo! Got some words hot off the press, and I know some of you have been waiting for these particular ones for quite a while now.

Here's chapters 23 and 24 of TDB--and chapter 24 is the big presentation! Please note that this isn't the end of the story yet, because I've got several more chapters to finish writing and more than one plot thread yet to resolve. But it's a pretty big scene, I think!

In the process of writing these chapters, I've gone back and done some re-editing of chapters 18-22, improving the flow in some places. I've also broken it out into a new document; it was getting so long that googledocs was misbehaving, plus chapters 1-17 are the ones on Scribble, and the SH version is a bit more up to date than this older doc (bc I did some edits as I posted the chapters, because my process is a mess). Since it's been a million years, you might just want to read all these again, but if not, 23 and 24 are the completely new ones and the others are essentially the same.

One more note on process stuff: feel free to comment here or directly in the doc if you would like to! (or if you note that I've made a very obvious typo or something) I don't always respond, but I do always read comments and find them very helpful (and encouraging) as an author. I appreciate having a sense of how readers are experiencing my work, whether it works or doesn't, etc, as a way to continue to improve my writing.
