2024-02-13 01:04:04 +0000 UTCThe expose Lana shoots in this finale is based on the real life expose of Willowbrook State Institution by Geraldo Rivera. Those images are burned into my mind. All these remaining characters had beautiful endings. Jude & Kit & Lana. Asylum really stands out as one of the best of the series. I’m floored.

2024-02-13 00:45:31 +0000 UTCThe ending of Jude's story was so beautifully written and executed, I totally agree that it's some of the best moments of the entire show, cos you do end up really empathizing with her and feel a sense of sadness by the end, which you would never have expected from the earlier episodes, so I really like that a lot - I'm also a big fan of redemption arcs! I'm excited to see what you'll make of season 3 which is also a huge fan favourite. I think there's probabl a general consensus that the first three/four seasons are the strongest for sure, but that's not to say the rest isn't good, but yeah, you'll obviously form your own opinions, which after all is what we're here to get :)

2024-02-13 00:07:37 +0000 UTCI like that the end scene is kind of your own interpretation. For me it’s a reminder of everything Lana did to get the story. Many times throughout the season she looked into the face of evil, and in her final confrontation with Johnny, she admitted the fault was hers and evil looked right back.

2024-02-13 00:03:44 +0000 UTCReally glad you enjoyed this season. The only thing I don’t really like is the alien plotline cause it feels like it was just randomly thrown in with no explanation. Still one of my top AHS seasons though. Sister Jude’s mental decline/death always gets me 😭
