Store Test Post

I just posted a store test post for the Daily Grind image series. Frustratingly, Patreon doesn't seem to make a distinction between a post that goes in a feed for subscribers, or a post for the "store". It's kind of a vague and unintuitive system. You can't even put a public description on the post to give people more information. It's a shame they can't just implement a store that works like literally every other online store, instead of trying to shoe-horn it into the Patreon format (which is already terrible).

Anyway, if you were subscriber back in 2022 / 2023, then you've already seen all the Daily Grind pics. There's nothing new in that post. I just wanted to see how the "store" function works. I might end up posting some more stuff in there at some point. But maybe not if it's going to mess up my feed for paid subscribers. :P

That's almost even more confusing! Yeah I don't know what they were thinking. I wish I could just post a thing the way Itch or Gumroad works and have it be a store item. And not sort of awkwardly a part of my Patreon subscription feed, but also not really... just such a convoluted way of doing it.

Even the image was blurred out? Ah yeah, I guess that makes sense. But it's so counterintuitive for what I, as a seller, want from a store front. x_x Like I need to be able to advertise what the post is, somehow! Patreon just can't get anything right, it's infuriating.

I got the email notification for the post but it doesn't appear on the main feed on mobile. I have to open your profile and click on the store tab to see it. Would be nice if Patreon made it more clear with a title/subject like "New item/post in Pulsar's shop" or something like that.

Yeah that was weird since it only showed a title and a blurry image and a offer to buy something for five bucks haha
