New Year Update

Hey I hope everyone had a good holiday and new year! I wanted to give a quick update on my plans for this year.

My main goal for this year is to focus my time on longer term projects. I know I've talked a bit about this in the past and I think everyone is pretty much on board with it. But lately I've felt stagnated by focusing on churning out individual pics over doing more complex work. So there will be a shift in the type of things I post and probably how often I'm posting.

I've spent the past two weeks mostly on administrative stuff: getting my spreadsheets and files set up for a new year, organizing my computers, backing everything up, and other general things I've been putting off because they're super boring and I hate doing them. But I got a lot of that stuff done, so that should help me out a lot. I also got most of the next comic page finished and scripted out the comic in detail through the next 30 pages.

Speaking of the comic, that's something I also want to focus more on this year. I'm not yet going to go so far as to say I'm going to do a page a week. But I do want to release pages more often than I have been. Partly it's because I want to build more momentum with it, and partly because I just don't want it to take another two or three years to finish. I may try to work ahead on it and build up some lead time, then start posting it more often.

The other projects are more 3D focused. I want to do both more and longer animations, and work towards the game project idea I've had. Both of these require more characters, props, environments. Kind of a little of everything. So I'm going to do a variety of 3D related tasks, vaguely working towards the goal of the game while just practicing and exploring 3D projects in general. I also have a lot of things I want to do in 3D that's not porn specifically, so I might put some time into those as well, depending on how it goes.
