Tim and Danica entered the dorm room. He turned on a single dim lamp, setting the mood as she locked the door behind them.
“Listen,” Tim said. “I know what you're probably expecting, and I am fine with doing that with you if you want. But, first, I did actually have something to show you.”
“Oh?” she said, sounding both surprised and intrigued.
Tim held out his phone to her with the app open on the screen.
“This might sound like a joke or a fantasy,” he explained. “But, this is real. I swear it.”
She listened patiently as he explained the app and how it worked. He gave a brief mention to testing it out before to confirm that it was real. She seemed skeptical without being completely incredulous.
“So,” he said as he finished revealing the app to her. “What do you think? Do you want to give it a try?”
She seemed unsure of how to reply. Clearly she was doubtful, but at the same time, she wanted him badly enough to go along with even something as strange as this. “I guess,” she said. “What do you have in mind?”
Tim sat on his bed and she nervously took a seat beside him. “How about this?” Tim said. “Pretend that I'm your genie, and make a wish. What would you like to change about yourself?”
She seemed ready to blush, recognizing that she was about to reveal something private to him, maybe even more private than if she were to remove her clothes for him.
“I dunno,” she said. “Can I wish for anything?”
“Anything at all.”
“Anything…” she said, her mind racing.
“Well?” he said, sensing that she was ready. “What’s your wish?”
What does Danica wish for?
